Time is flying! ...

Yikes! No posts since June, so it's probably time to admit I can't juggle two blogs at the same time. So if you want to catch up on my latest adventures you can check out the website for the little shop of handmade wonders that I opened up a few months ago, called Make Good. The photo up top was taken during the last South Park Walkabout, it's a super huge neighborhood party where all the shops stay open late and put on quite a party. We'll have live music, tasty drinks and treats and the artists will be here to mix and mingle as we celebrate what is good about this little corner of SD. The Holiday Walkabout is coming up fast, it's Saturday December 4 from 6-10pm - you've got to experience it at least once.

Also some pretty exciting stuff is happening. Yesterday local station Channel 6 just announced that the shop was picked by Yelp.com, an online review forum, as one of San Diego's hottest mall-ternatives this year. And one of the top three boutiques for gifts in San Diego. What??? That's so cool, I sure didn't see that one coming.

We also have another big event coming up the Saturday after Thanksgiving, here's the poster with details. We were invited by The New Childrens Museum downtown to curate an event with the Make Good artists. So, if you are in SD next weekend please stop by, you don't need to pay to get in, the show is in the lobby BUT this is the only comtemporary art museum for kids in CA, so it would be fun to check out with the kiddos.

All this to say, I'm thinking maybe the most exciting part of the adventure lies ahead, stay tuned.
